Dispatching Your Order
All gifts will be dispatched within 48 hours of the order being placed with Special Surprises.
Delivery - UK Mainland Delivery
We believe in keeping delivery charges as low as we can so where possible our costs of postage and packaging are calculated on the size and weight of the gifts you buy. However to allow us to track your gifts to ensure their safe arrival we must issue via a ‘signed for’ delivery method.
All deliveries will require a signature, if the recipient is not in a calling card will be left to allow them to make arrangements for the re-delivery of the order.
The current industrial action by Royal Mail staff may result in delays for those purchases that utilise standard delivery by Royal Mail. Customers have the option to choose 'Courier – Next Working Day delivery' if delivery times are critical, at the price shown below.

Christmas Hampers
Our range of Christmas Hampers allows a deferred delivery date. The customer is responsible for inputting the preferred date of delivery into the appropriate box. The confirmation e-mail will confirm this preferred delivery date and the customer should ensure that it is correct. If no preferred delivery date is entered the hamper will be dispatched as described in the standard terms and conditions. Special Surprises cannot be held responsible for wrong deliveries based on incorrect information supplied by the customer.
Returns
Special Surprises want you to be completely satisfied with the goods you have ordered and the service provided. If you wish to cancel your order this must be notified by e-mail within 7 days of receipt and the goods returned to us at the Customer’s own cost. On receipt of the goods in the original packaging and unused a full refund will be given less the cost of delivery. This right must be exercised by the customer and not the recipient of the basket. The customer shall be deemed to have accepted the basket if no notification has been received within 7 days after which no returns will be accepted.
For your own protection we recommend you use Recorded Delivery or other similar postal tracking method to return the goods. Special Surprises cannot be held responsible for returned goods that do not reach us.
